Our mission is to enrich the lives of underserved children in our community through partnerships, fundraising initiatives, and volunteerism opportunities spearheaded by young professionals. Empowering the next generation in Lane County, we are dedicated to inspiring, educating, and equipping youth with the tools, opportunities, and support they need to become confident, compassionate, and capable leaders. Together, we nurture potential, foster community, and build a brighter future for all.

Opened in 2023, Blackthorn Academy is Eugene's only Irish Dance school. Dancers can be any age and any experience level. Competitions and performances are not required, but all dancers are eligible for both if they are interested. Classes are offered for beginners, advanced beginners, novices, prizewinners, championship-level dancers, and adults. We strive to provide a safe and inclusive place for dancers of all types, regardless of age, gender, or orientation. We welcome queer dancers with open arms and hope to reach the queer community by partnering with local queer organizations.

The Eugene Yang Chengfu Tai Chi Chuan Center is one of only 12 centers in the U.S. accredited by the International Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan Association. The center is the only organization in Eugene, Oregon that offers instruction in authentic, traditional Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan. Members of the center learn Tai Chi forms including traditional Yang family Hand Form, Push Hands and Weapons (sword and saber form). All levels of instruction are available, from novice to advanced, as well as instructor training.
